In order to have the search results numbered in Google and MSN (as Yahoo already shows the numbering in the search results), you need to install the firefox extension called as Greasemonkey.
Greasemonkey is a Firefox extension that allows you to customize the way webpages look and function.
Google Numbered Results
Once done, then you need to install the script for numbering the results in Google. Click here to install the script. This script will automatically numbered the results in the Google Search Results.
MSN Numbered Results
Number your MSN results and make your search results more effective. Click here to install the script.
Yahoo Numbered Results
Yahoo automatically shows the numbering for the search results, for the keyword searches.
