There is always the need to updated the web-pages, and remove those which are no longer required from Google search index. Previously, in order to remove the URL, the webpage's URL must first be blocked by a site owner before the page can be removed from Google's search results. As you have already verified the ownership of your site in the Webmasters Tools, the above mentioned requirement can be eliminated, to remove unwanted pages (e.g. pages accidentally made public) from Google's search results.
