Google Eliminates Page Rank from Webmaster Tools

Google removed the PageRank from the Google Webmasters Tools recently, as it is least responsible to make the site show up in search result.

Google has already mentioned that PageRank is one of the 200 plus factors which it considers for ranking of the website in the search result. As such focusing on the rank of the website for SERP, is not good. It only shows that PageRank is not the only thing which is to be considered for the ranking of the website in the Google web search result.

The ultimate focus should be on the search results ranking and how the website is crawled, indexex and ranked. Google updates the PageRank displayed in Google Toolbar few times in a year, and so it is less significant when it comes to ranking for your website.
